St Werburgh’s World War Two Memorial
St Werburghs Parish Church’s new Great War Memorial was installed and dedicated in 2018. It contains the names of all the members of the Armed Forces associated with St Werburgh’s Parish who lost their lives during the conflict. Photocast were commissioned to design, manufacture and install the Memorial.
The Memorial consists of four cast bronze plaques. The central plaque listing the 120 names of the lost, two end plaques with graphics and significant quotations and prayers and the top plaque, which is a dedication. We also manufactured the magnificent wooden frame from original pew ends from the church.
