The Commonwealth Walk Way was devised by the Outdoor Trust in 2013. Its aim was to introduce a series of walks through towns and cities of the Commonwealth, to promote good health and to take people to points of interest. So far walkways have been created in London, Glasgow, Australia, New Zealand, The Caribbean and many more. The walkways are marked with cast bronze discs fixed near places of interest; the discs are complemented by zinc interpretation panels giving a detailed history of the areas.
Photocast were commissioned to create the zinc panels and also cast the bronze walkway markers. So far we have cast over 2000 markers and designed and manufactured over 20 interpretation panels.
