Royal Plaques
In 2012 the Government Department responsible for the interpretation panels of Central London decided to replace some of the faded stainless steel panels with deep etched Braille and Tactile panoramic panels, reflecting the changing landscape of London and also incorporating special events.
The series of plaques included The Seven Phases of London Bridge; The Marriage between Prince William and Princess Kate situated near Westminster Abbey and The Queens 90th birthday celebrations in Windsor, Her Majesty unveiled the plaque. The plaques were all designed and fitted by Photocast.
